Many years ago I was born in Argentina, where I was raised in government religious schools, and eventually in a seminary with the assigned purpose of become a Franciscan priest. I was not very well suited for the cloistered life, for my exploring nature got the best of me, and lead me in ways a seminarian is not advised to travel.

By the age of 14, I had worked as a telegram delivery boy, an apprentice carpenter, and an apprentice electrician.

I came to the United States at the age of 15, traveling on a transatlantic vessel for 15 days, where I experience my first teen, very short lasted romance. Needless to say in those days the maximum distance a romance would travel was not beyond a kiss.

Reckless as I have always been, even before finishing high school, I joined the United States Air Force, and after three weeks in boot camp, I realized I didn't belong there! So I spent the remaining four years getting ready to finish my military career.

professions, thousands and thousands of hours studying, searching, learning, and discovering. In 1989 I have a vision that changed my life! During that vision I experienced the most extraordinary sense of peace, pleasure, and an indescribable sense of wisdom. At that very moment, I felt my spiritual quest had come to fruition, and that I had realized all that I had ever wanted in that realm. Although that experience did open a much better life, I did not have, at the time, the idea of what my subsequent tasks would be. Coming to understand Love with the depth with which I believe I understand it, was a passionate quest that lasted several years.

I guess most people would be embarrassed to admit to have been married five times, and to having had many other long and short term relationships throughout their life. I like to read it as a continuing attempt to learn and eventually succeed. I won't be arrogant to the point of asserting I've tapped the whole road, and know all the depths of the subject. Further experiences, and further discoveries follow each discovery. With us, humans, I think this is a never-ending process.

The book, however, is a culmination of a relatively complete view that I saw to be useful for many. Such things, often known by acquisition through personal experience, need to be stated, and verbalized to provide meaning and greater understanding. I believe that knowledge is not the purview of few privilege individuals, hence, I choose to think that I've performed a function of verbalizing what anyone would have discovered by methodic observation and dedication.

My personal life experiences and careers have contributed to nuances that will be quite original, especially with regards to drills, meditations, exercises, and handling specific difficulties many people run into. People started to come to me for romantic and other personal advise. I would toss off handed advice, as careless as a bartender. A few weeks later they would come to report their success. I started collecting notes and letters to and from people that were writing to me, and from those notes and letters was this book born.

I've written these things as if I was writing you, the potential reader, a personal letter. I will continue to come back and revisit this writing to reflect the interest of those who write and have specific questions about me. Feel free, therefore, to write to me as you would a friend and ask candidly whatever you have in your heart. I'll do my best to respond from my own heart.

Be well!
